Originally a drifter half-serious about a career in medicine, I forged a path to design by grit and luck. I earned my stripes at startups and worked my way into large, public companies, occasionally doing some product design consulting gigs in between. When I find a user problem that I deeply care about, I pull out all the stops—solving it with thoughtful craft, relentless attention to detail, and a genuine compassion for who it affects. I'm currently at Squarespace where I'm designing to help merchants run their businesses and consumers find the right services with said merchants.
My career has taken me across a wide range of industries and products, but I've always thrived in 0-1 spaces. Previously, I was at Petual designing AI agents to run internal audits and compliance workflows. Before that, I did my best work at Human Interest where I helped redefine an archaic 401(k) industry through radically simplified consumer and admin experiences. That time, I was also consulting at Tactic to design from the ground up, a business crypto accounting platform that helps stakeholders close the gaps of tax reporting. I'm a problem solver who enjoys the opportunities in messy, undefined areas.
