Originally a drifter half-serious about a career in medicine, I forged a path to design by grit and luck. I earned my stripes at startups and worked my way into B2B companies, occasionally doing some product design consulting gigs in between.
I'm dedicated to the craft; I sweat the details to create work that's meaningful and memorable. I'm at my best in systems-driven product spaces, taming the ambiguity, making simple out of complex, connecting the pieces, and shaping entirely new products from the ground up.
Outside of design, I try to make the most of sunny weather and nature in the SF Bay Area.
